I am a Canberra-based cloud platforms and technology governance leader with more than two decades of experience across AWS cloud engineering, DevSecOps, research platforms, scientific computing, FinOps and technical team leadership.
Professional profile
I currently support governance, platform reliability, cost control, source-code platform governance and DevSecOps maturity across a large AWS estate at Geoscience Australia. My focus is on shifting cloud delivery away from isolated account administration and toward secure, reusable and scalable platform capabilities.
Earlier in my career, I led technical operations for a nationally significant research facility, combining ICT systems, data services, vendor engagement, reporting and GCP-supported scientific workloads. Before moving into Australian research and cloud roles, I built a broad foundation in commercial operations, project management, negotiation, resource planning, quality control, database development and IT training.
